Are you not tired?
Are you not tired of asking for this and that from Allah? Are you not tired of just wanting something for yourself and not care if you are giving anything in return? Do you think entrance and exit doors are created for nothing, it is but a reminder for those who ponder hard!
You ask and ask of Allah for things like health, wealth, protection and everything but do we ask for something that actually should be on the top of the list of our du’as?
Yes, His Forgiveness. We ask but we don’t give out our repentance? Is that fair?
You ask and ask and He gives and gives yet we forget and forget? How selfish, right? We can’t even give enough thanks and yet we expect to repent?
It’s sad that when we repent, it is just for short time. We repent and then we think “O Okay, i repented that’s fine.” Really? Is this how sincere your repentance is?
My dear brother and sister in Islam, ponder hard, if you really want to repent from everything you have done, by Allah, you won’t even want to think of raising your head from sujood.
Again, repentance is the first pillar of forgiveness. You have to repent, regret to understand why you are asking for forgiveness.
Realize that when you want to achieve and gain something in this world, you give so much effort to it, to perfect an exam, you will pull and all nighter just to read piles of books, if you want to have a car you would work your soul out just so you can buy this thing, yet when it comes to repentance, even raising your hand to Allah becomes so heavy and burdensome. Why? How come?
Is not Allah worthy of same effort you give to these things? Or are you saying these things are better than Allah? Astagfirullah.
If you really want it, then repent with the same amount of repentance you want to get from Allah, okay?
It’s never too late, Allah is always calling you, He always waits but when will you answer His call, when will you end the waiting?
When will you redeem your soul?
And we pray that Allah Azza Wa Jall enlightens our hearts and empty our hearts from the love for this world and fill it with the love for the akhirah.
